How Direct Deposit WorksClickBank's payment preferences make receiving your payments easy. Now, based on your needs, you can receive your payments via check or Direct Deposit. Rather than having to wait for postal services to deliver your check, Direct Deposit allows you to receive your payment in a few short days. Plus, Direct Deposit payments are made in your local currency, allowing you to avoid unnecessary bank fees. In order to best explain how to use Direct Deposit, first the "rules" outlining its use are defined and then step-by-step instructions for implementation are detailed. 2.1 United States Direct Deposit (ACH) RulesThe following business rules apply to ClickBank United States direct deposit. Please be sure to review them prior to enabling direct deposit. Direct deposit is a subset of our existing payment features; therefore, to ensure you're viewing the most current rules please review the ClickBank Accounting Policy. Payment DefaultBy default, all payouts are mailed via check to the legal address listed in your account. To switch to ACH to receive your payments, you must elect to enable ACH within your account (see section 2.3). Direct Deposit Distribution RequirementsAn account must first receive three paper paychecks within any 90-day period before it is eligible to enroll in direct deposit. TimingOnce sent, payments may take 1-2 business days to reach your account, although many United States direct deposits are received on the same day that we send them. Direct Deposit FailureWhen an ACH payout fails to reach you due to invalid banking information, ClickBank automatically resets your account to payment by paper check and mails your payment via check to the legal address listed in your account. 2.2 International Direct Deposit (XACH) RulesThe following business rules apply to ClickBank international direct deposit.
